Very few board games gain popularity during this era of electronics, but the Bakugan Battle Pack is doing just that. Cast from the popular television show, a Bakugan Battle pits mythical creatures and warriors against each other. As a game, it causes players to activate their imaginations rather than their thumbs and digits used for video gaming.

Inside the Bakugan Battle Pack, there are six round marble like pieces that house the Bakugan creatures. There are magnetized game cards with assigned point values. Many who may be familiar with Pokeman games will notice some similarities between Bakugan and Pokeman. Bakugan can be played by one person rather than two or more.

Bakugan also has action figures and not just action cards or point cards. Rules for game play are straight-forward, and easy to grasp. This makes the Bakugan Battle Pack ideal for children ages five and older.

One of the best features of the Bakugan Battle Pack is the transformation of the Bakugan creatures from a marble like ball. The marble-like piece is magnetized and when rolled over a magnetized game card, the transformation occurs. Players must become skilled enough to get game pieces to land on the magnetic cards and transform.

Rolling or spinning the Bakugan creatures is what appears to make the Bakugan Battle Pack most desirable to children. This action combines the eye-hand coordination of a traditional action game, and the imagination of the “roller” as to the best way to spin the marble-like piece.

The roller must become adept at controlling the speed and direction of the roll, in order for the creature to “open” on the card or gate. The Bakugan Battle Pack will give your child all of the tools he/she needs to create hours of enjoyment.
